Pop., 273. Houses, 54. The property is divided among a few. Baxterley Hall is the seat of Apsley Smith, Esq. Coal is largely worked. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester. Value, £262. Patrons, the Lord Chancellor and another. The church is not good.
