RUSTINGTON, a parish in Worthing district, Sussex; on the coast, 1 mile SW of Angmering r. station, and 1¼ E of Little Hampton. Post-town, Little Hampton, under Arundel. Acres, 1,287; of which 222 are water. Real property, £3,254. Pop., 340. Houses, 75. The manor belongs to W. G. K. Gratwicke, Esq. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Chichester. Value, 159. Patron, the Bishop of Chichester. The church is early English, and was recently restored. A national school was built in 1860.
