Grassendale an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Lancashire created in 1855 from Garston Ecclesiastical Parish and Aigburth Ecclesiastical Parish. In 1923 Grassendale ecclesiastical parish boundary was altered with the creation of Liverpool All Souls, Springwood Ecclesiastical Parish.
