The Weir also known as St Matthias Church Bristol is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Gloucestershire, created in 1846 from Bristol St Paul Ancient Parish, Bristol St Peter Ancient Parish, Bristol St Philip and St Jacob Ancient Parish. In 1937 it was united with St Jude, with St Jude to be the parish church and St. Matthias to be demolished. The church was closed on the 24th June 1940.
