TRENTISHOE, a parish in Barnstaple district, Devon; on the coast, 12 miles NE by N of Barnstaple r. station. Post town, Parracombe, under Barnstaple. Acres, 1,571 Real property, £946. Pop., 123. Houses, 27. There are two manors. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter. Value, £118. Patron, J. R. Griffiths, Esq. The church is ancient.
