The parish includes the townships of Eaton, Allerton, Stoke, and Westanswick. Living, a rectory in the archd. of Salop and dio. of Lichfield; rated at £20; gross income £1,044; nett income £878. Patron, in 1841, the Rev. H. C. Cotton. Here are 4 daily and 2 Sunday schools. Acres 5,770. Houses 191. A.P. £8,440. Pop., in 1801, 626; in 1831, 1,030. Poor rates, in 1838, £444 13s.
