Living, a discharged vicarage in the archd. of Salop and dio. of Lichfield; rated at £5 10s. 10d.; gross income £205. Patron, in 1841, Sir R. Hill, Bart. Here are 4 daily schools, one of which is endowed with £5 per annum, and a house and garden. Acres 4,450. Houses 121. A.P. £5,940. Pop., in 1801, 579; in 1831, 722. Poor rates, in 1838, £200.
