1777, Mar. 20. The Revd. Mr. Edward Stillingfleet, Prebendary of Worcester, was bur. in the Chapel behind the Choir. Footnote: Edward Stillingfleet was son of Dean Stillingfleet, Wadham Coll., Oxford, B.A., 1718. He was Prebendary of Worcester from 1737, Vicar of Lindridge and Rector of Hartlebury from 1760 till his death.

1777, Mar. 14. Mrs. Wedgbury was bur. from the college Green.

1777, Mar. 29. Mr. Richard Lewis, Lay Clerk, was bur. in the Cloyster Green.

1777, May 13. Mr. Joseph Davies, Lay Clerk, was bur. in the Cloyster Green.

1777, June 16. The Rev. Mr. William Griffin, Sacrist, was bur. in the Cloyster Green. Footnote: William Griffin was presented by the Chapter to St. Swithin Rectory, Worcester, 22nd April 1770, and on 25th April, 1775, appointed Sacrist and at the same time recommended to the Bishop for appointment to St. Michael, in Bedwardine.

1777, Nov. 1. Ann Chapeau, wid. of Col. Chapeau, was bur. in the Cloyster Green.

1778, Jan. 5. Frances Allason, wid., was bur. in the Cloyster Green.

1778, Dec. 19. Cordelia Fox was bur. in the Cloyster.

1779, May 5. Thomas Roberts, Esqre., was bur. behind the Choir in the North Isle.

1779, July 13. Robert Digby, s. of the Rev. James Stillingfleet, Prebendary of Worcester, & Katherine his wife was baptized.

1779, Aug. 11. Mrs. Sandys, relict of the Revd. Edwin Sandys, was bur. behind the Choir in the South Isle.

1780, Mar. 30. Mrs. Inett, relict of the Revd. Mr. Thos. Inett, Prebendary of this Cathedral, was bur. behind the North side of the Altar.

1780, Aug. 7. Mrs. Esther Wilson was bur. in the Cloysters.

1782, Feb. 22. Elizabeth, d. of the Revd. John Griffin, Master of the College School, & Mary his wife was baptized. Footnote: Rev. John Griffin, B.A., Fellow of Worcester College, Oxford, was Head Master of the School 2nd June, 1772 to 1813. In 1771 he was Librarian of the Cathedral, his classification and arrangement of the books remain to this day, in 1790 he received the thanks of the Dean and Chapter for this work and for the catalogue he compiled, and in 1783 an honorarium of twenty guineas was made to him. He became Vicar of Cropthorne, 1786, and of Puddleston, 1805. He was also Rector of Martin Hussingtree.
