1751 Oct. 28. Dr. Philip Smalridge, Chancellor and Canon of Worcester, bur. behind the Quire. Footnote: Dr. Smalridge held the 1st Canonry from 17th June, 1731. He was son of George Smalridge, Bishop of Bristol, and was educated at Christ Church, Oxford, B.A., 1721, D.D., 1742; he became Chancellor, 1742, and died 23rd Oct., 1751.
