Newfoundland Street Calvinistic Chapel Arrowsmiths Dictionary of Bristol 1884

Newfoundland Street was adopted about the year 1809 by a section of the congregation of the Tabernacle, where they considered Calvinism was insufficiently set forth. The first preacher was the extraordinary William Huntingdon, S.S. (i.e., “Sinner Saved”).
