Mount Pleasant Durhamshire Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales Circa 1870

MOUNT-PLEASANT, a village in the centre of Durhamshire; 1 mile W of Spennymoor r. station, and 4 WNW of Ferry hill. It has a post-office under Ferry hill, and a United Presbyterian church.
