Dderw Brecon Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales Circa 1870

Dderw, a seat 3 miles NNE of Talgarth, in Brecon. It belonged formerly to the Morgans; and belongs now to T. Pritchard, Esq. A judge on his way to the assizes, in the time of Henry VIII., was murdered here by a gang of bandits.
