any one doing work on Cookham? I have chart available for Shergolds in Cookham, anyone local will remember Williams post office and apart from the known chart someone might know about Louisa Scorey’s family…. also wanted on William is cemetery/ burial details so someone may have local church records as William was involved in Church board……..
while on berkshire…. Iver Manor in Wallingford is most important to Shergold family, firstly because George Shergold mariner rented it and alienated to his sister Mary who married Rev Durand Rhudde . I do know that many university students somewhere in Britain have studied Iver , their work would be useful to read. George and Mary are children of Richard Shergold of Threadneedle St London the famous stockbroker which ties in with Suttons of Stock Exchange.
