Allt-y-Grag Lewis Topographical Dictionary of Wales 1845

Allt-y-Grag, a hamlet, in the parish of Llanguicke, union of Neath, hundred of Llangyvlach, county of Glamorgan, South Wales, 10 miles (N. by W.) from Neath; containing 1077 inhabitants. It forms the higher and north-eastern portion of the parish, bordering on Brecknockshire, and is intersected by the Swansea canal at its eastern extremity.
